Privacy Policy

LAST UPDATED · 12 June 2026

[ 01 ]OverviewThis notice explains what personal information Protocore collects when you visit protocore.io or work with us, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It applies to our websites and to the products and services we operate. It does not form part of any contract.
[ 02 ]Data we collectWe collect information you give us directly — such as your name, email, company, and the details of a project enquiry — and information collected automatically, such as your IP address, device and browser type, and the pages you view. We do not ask for special-category data, and we ask that you do not send it to us.
[ 03 ]How we use itWe use your information to respond to enquiries, to deliver and improve our services, to keep our systems secure, to send service messages, and — where you have asked for them — to send occasional field notes. We only use your data for the purposes described here or for purposes you would reasonably expect.
[ 04 ]Legal basisWhere the GDPR applies, we rely on your consent (for example, optional analytics and newsletters), on the performance of a contract (to deliver work you have engaged us for), and on our legitimate interests (to run, secure, and improve our business) as the basis for processing your data.
[ 05 ]SharingWe do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf — for hosting, analytics, and email delivery — under contracts that limit how they may use it, and where the law requires disclosure or where it is needed to protect our rights or the safety of others.
[ 06 ]RetentionWe keep personal data only for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected, to meet our legal and accounting obligations, or to resolve disputes. Enquiry records are typically retained for up to 24 months unless we begin working together, in which case the engagement terms apply.
[ 07 ]SecurityWe protect information with encryption in transit, access controls, least-privilege practices, and regular review. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to limit risk and to respond quickly and openly if something does go wrong.
[ 08 ]Your rightsDepending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, contact us using the details below; we respond within the timeframes the law requires.
[ 09 ]International transfersWe may process data outside your country, including within the EU and the United States. Where we do, we use recognised safeguards — such as standard contractual clauses — so that your information keeps an equivalent level of protection wherever it is handled.
[ 10 ]ChangesWe may update this notice as our services or the law change. We will post the revised version on this page and update the date shown above, and we will highlight significant changes where it is appropriate to do so.
[ 11 ]ContactQuestions, requests, or complaints about privacy can be sent to privacy@protocore.io. If you are in the EEA or the UK and believe we have not resolved your concern, you may also contact your local data protection authority.
